Make Mental Health for All a Global Priority as the world marks 2022 Mental Health Day~ Barr. Ukaobasi

As the world marks 2022 Mental Health Day, an international day for global mental health education, awareness, and policy advocacy, the Executive Director Youth Emancipation and Rehabilitation Foundation, Agbonma Jennifer Ukaobasi Esq has urge all and sundry to take Mental Health for All a Global Priority.

In line with the theme,
Barrister Ukaobasi advises individuals to reach out to their circle of influence and inquire about their state of mind, stressing that people may be going through the most difficult time of their lives and that sincere care could make a difference.

She added that the value and commitment being given to mental health as individuals, communities, and governments must be deepened as well as more commitment, engagement, and investment by all stakeholders, across all sectors, be strengthened, adding that these measures will go a long way in protecting the society from mental health issues.

The legal practitioner maintained that increased awareness about mental well-being should be taken seriously and people with mental health conditions should equally be given a sense of belonging.
